Remix Second Hand
Backend engineering for a growing second-hand fashion e-commerce platform — distributed systems, API design, and developer tooling. December 2025 — Present.
Remix Second Hand is a Bulgarian e-commerce platform specialising in second-hand fashion. As part of the backend team, I work on the core platform infrastructure serving thousands of daily transactions across a multi-service architecture.
Proposed and led the modular rewrite of a legacy discount engine — event-driven, observable, and safe to migrate incrementally. Built CLI tooling that eliminated manual service scaffolding. Integrated conversational chatbot backend for order lookup.
Backend architecture and API design for core e-commerce flows. Building and maintaining distributed services with NestJS and PHP/Laravel. Event-driven architecture with RabbitMQ. Developer tooling and CLI scaffolding for standardised service creation. Cross-functional technical collaboration across product and platform teams.
